The ten products used for cryogenic deflashing this time are all made of silicone rubber material, with different shapes. Therefore, they need to be tested in batches, as the thickness of the product burrs varies and the parameters set are also different. The before and after trimming comparison is shown in the following figure. It can be seen that there are burrs at the mold joints of several rubber parts, and the burrs on the inner side are not easy to remove manually. The NS-120T machine model is used for this test.
The NS-120 machine model is suitable for most silicone rubber products, with a large 120L capacity barrel, meeting the needs of most rubber manufacturers. After several rounds of deflashing, the results are shown in the above figure (right), all ten products’ burrs have been removed, and the product surfaces are smooth and undamaged. The customer is very satisfied with the deflashing effect, and the performance test has also passed.
