Polyurethane foam materials are mainly divided into soft PU foam, hard PU foam, and spray foam. Flexible PU foam is used for various applications such as cushioning, clothing filling, and filtration. while hard PU foam is mainly used for thermal insulation boards and laminated insulation materials in commercial and residential construction, as well as (spray) foam roofs.
The product we are testing today is the soft polyurethane foam, which is mainly used for shock absorption and cushioning.

From the images, it can be seen that the untrimmed shock absorber block has visible burrs and glue overflow, with burrs mainly present at the mold joint. This batch of products has a large quantity and volume, and manual trimming is not only time-consuming but also troublesome. Therefore, the customer has entrusted us to carry out cryogenic trimming processing.
This product uses the NS-180 model machine for trimming. The 180 model machine has a large capacity and is suitable for enterprises with large product volumes and high production.
The cryogenic deflashing process will not affect the appearance and performance of the product. The trimming process takes about 10-15 minutes.
The comparison of the product’s appearance before and after deflashing is very obvious. The nature of the product itself has not changed.
