Cryogenic deflashing of PTFE products

The cryogenic deflashing process for polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) products:

Today’s deflashed product is a PTFE plastic nut, as shown in the figure below. The burrs mainly exist within the red box. The products will be processed in batches according to weight and undergo deflashing.

The current processing uses the 60L model with 0.5mm selected for the pellets to ensure the best trimming effect. After loading a batch of products and closing the chamber door, the cryogenic deflashing parameters are set, and the machine starts running, with the entire deflashing process not exceeding 15 minutes.

The 60L model has the following features:

1. High trimming precision, making it the best choice for small parts.
2. Suitable for manufacturers with a wide variety of products.

After deflashing, the plastic nuts are displayed as follows:

The burrs have been successfully removed, and there is no damage to the surface of the products. Therefore, the cold trimming machine is suitable for trimming plastic products such as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).
