Can the terminal be repaired using a cryogenic deflshing machine?

The cryogenic deflashing machine is suitable for removing burrs from various rubber, injection molded, zinc-magnesium-aluminum alloy parts. STMC has been deeply involved in the cryogenic deflashing machine industry for over 20 years, constantly innovating and becoming a solid support for various rubber and plastic product manufacturing enterprises. Many customers who were previously unfamiliar with the cryogenic deflashing machine were amazed by the edge trimming accuracy of our products after testing, and chose to invest in the machine without hesitation.

This time, the customer brought different types of terminal blocks to SMC for deflashing testing, mainly made of materials such as nylon with fiber, PPA, and PC with fiber, totaling 12 products, as shown in the figure below.

Due to time constraints and the different properties of the products, each product undergoes individual deflashing tests. The equipment used for testing is all from the NS-60T series cryogenic deflashing machine, with the projectiles being 0.4mm and 0.5mm in diameter, respectively. From the figure, it can be seen that 4-5 of the products have holes of varying sizes, so when selecting projectiles, care should be taken not to choose projectiles with a diameter that is too large to prevent them from getting stuck in the holes.

After testing all 12 products, we began evaluating the test results. Apart from the good results of the green terminal block in the upper right corner, several other terminal blocks experienced projectile jamming and product damage. Additionally, due to the limited sample quantity, inadequate parameter settings could potentially lead to edge trimming failure. Therefore, this test is for reference only, and we will invite the customer to send a larger quantity of samples for testing in the future, with the results expected to be better than this time.

STMC provides solutions and deflashing tests for various rubber and plastic products at home and abroad. We welcome all customers to inquire and consult!
